Answer: Human rights are the rights that guarantee people a healthy, beautiful and peaceful life. As human beings, we all have the right to live a healthy and beautiful life. For this, people need certain facilities – such as the right to study, the right to express their views, the right to practice their own religion, and in case of danger, the right to help people engaged in maintaining law and order. In order to survive as a member of the society, a person needs a lot more help and cooperation. Above all, a person living in the society has to approach human rights step by step in order to survive. The United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948, recognizing these basic human rights. According to this declaration, all people of all countries of the world have the right to human rights irrespective of race, religion, caste, age, gender and financial status. Human rights help to make people’s lives better. It develops the good qualities of the people, builds harmony among the people and plays an impeccable role in establishing peace and order in the society.
